內容 Objective：
The workshop is designed to bring forward the concept of Joint Industry Platform (JIP) 
and to discuss the possibility of creating such platform in Taiwan to facilitate the 
development of offshore wind. Joint Industry Platform is a mechanism, in which Industry, 
government, research organisations all come together to identify the challenges and 
collectively identify solutions. JIPs have been a successful concept and proofed to be 
successful across the world in accelerating offshore wind deployment and lowering costs, 
especially in Europe. It is now taking new shape in Asia and America in the offshore 
wind sector. Carbon Trust and GWEC hope to bring the platform into Taiwan to 
enable wider participation of government, industry, and research bodies to address 
the challenges and accelerate the growth of offshore wind sectors in Taiwan.

備註 The workshop intends to：
•Bring the stakeholders together to discuss the concept of a JIP and how it 
could work in the future for the Taiwanese market;
•Bring the industry and government together to further identify and confirm 
the needs of such platform;
•Lay foundation for the development and launch of the JIP formally in Taiwan
