Since the development of drone is gradually increasing by years around the world with its broad application among industries, MIRDC signed memorandum of understanding with Japan UAS Industrial Development Association (JUIDA) on March 24th. On that day, the MOU was signed by Dr. Chia-min Wei, the Vice President of MIRDC, and Suzuki Shinji, the President of JUIDA in the Japanese Drone Exhibition. In the future, both parties will be connecting for the industrial chain of key component for drones, continuously exchanging information, joint development and so on. This year, Japan has introduced the drone into the logistics industry and listed it as a major target, and wishes to increase more interactional cooperation opportunities in drone industry for the both parties.
Dr. Chia-min Wei, the Vice President of MIRDC, had said that MIRDC has been dedicated to relevant technology of vehicle system control for many years. In the recent 3 years, we have some early discovery on the software development of drone industry. Connected with many domestic manufacturers, the technique plays a role in providing key components in supply chain of drones. MIRDC wishes that through the connection with JUIDA, rich experiences of business field from Japan can be gained, and combined with the capabilities of research and connection which MIRDC possesses to establish an innovating cooperation mechanism for both parties. In the future, MIRDC wishes to speed up the cooperation of equipment inspection, map drawing, disaster handling, and so on, controlling the huge business opportunities of integration of software and hardware.
