In order to encourage Taiwan's medical free consultations teams to use domestic medical devices in clinical practice, the "2020 Matchmaking with Domestic Medical Devices Industries and Free Consultation in Clinical Practice Experience " was held on September 1st, 2020 on the 1st floor of TMU I College. The event was organized by Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, and hosted by Metal Industries Research & Development Centre (also known MIRDC),Taiwan Root Medical Peace Crops (also known TRMPC), Taipei Medical University (also known TMU), College Bio-medical Engineering of TMU, Research Center of Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology, College of Medicine and Taiwan Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society (also known TREATS). On the day, many domestic medical related manufacturers were invited to participate in the grand event to exchange valuable clinical information, increase the exposure of domestic medical products, and help MIT products break through difficulties and expand the domestic market.

Taiwan Root Medical Peace Corp originated with non-religious, non-profit, non-governmental organization (NGO) initiated by Dentist Chi-Chun Liu, with the main themes of "Sending Health to the Mountains" and "Medical Care without Border", through free consultations and advocating the concepts of health and education, we care about the physical and mental health of rural residents and provide medical and supply assistance. Dr. Chih-Lung Lin, the vice president of MIRDC, also stated that MIRDC has been involved in the medical devices industry for a long time. Due to the implementation of the "Medical Device Industry Technology Counseling and Promotion Program", sponsored by the Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, MIRDC has guided traditional industry manufacturers to transform and develop high-value medical products through clinical medicine. It is important to build not only a Taiwan manufacturing brand but also the application of MIT products through clinical practice in order to solve the industry needs.

There were 9 Taiwan manufacturers including Spirit Medical Co., Ltd (Stethoscopes), Leltek Inc. (Wireless Ultrasound Probe), Aggie Technology Co., Ltd (Goggles), MAKALOT INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD (Isolation Gown), TaiDoc Technology Corp (Blood-Glucose Meter and Blood-Glucose Test Strips), AViTA Crop (Forehead Thermometer and Blood-Pressure Meter), Besmed Health Business Corp (Aerochamber), MediFun Crop (Lancing Device), North-Vision Tech. Inc (Oxygen Measuring Device) participated in the event which allow Taiwan's innovative forces to have a place for implementation. Medical doctors would have better understanding the characteristics of domestic medical devices through the product display and the description of each manufacturer, also the medical donations to Taiwan Root Medical Peace Corp would not only become the standard equipment for the doctors' consultations, but also increase the service capability of consultations.
