Good Kitchen Ware R&D Strategic Alliance formed between the industry, the academia and the government

For the purpose of encouraging upstream suppliers to take the lead in facilitating R&D integration across the industrial chain for industry-wise transformation and upgrade, DoIT of MOEA MIRDC has commissioned MIRDC to undertake a project that aims to mobilize industrial value chain through leading players in the dining and kitchen ware industry. As a TDP for the Value-added Innovative Technologies of Traditional industries, this project aims to overcome bottlenecks in the development of dining and kitchen ware industry through industrial technology distinction and policy support. For this purpose, a Good Kitchen Ware R&D strategic alliance that comprises Kitchen Association Union of R.O.C., Yieh United Steel Company, I-Shou University, and MIRDC was formed at a joint contract-signing ceremony on 5 Oct. 2010.
