At year-end party, Mr. Chi-Chuan Huang, Chairman of MIRDC indicates that MIRDC turnover exceeded NT$2 billion in 2009, much higher than2007 by NT$1.4 billion. MIRDC turnover shows a leaping growth. MIRDC will work harder to provide industry with excellent services. I hope every colleague to maintain more than 10% of growth every year to achieve NT$2.5 billion of turnover within 2013 so that many more metal related manufacturers could receive MIRDC’s services and assistances. On February 6, 2010, MIRDC holds annual year-end party for its employees at Kaohsiung Headquarters. MIRDC invites friends from industry and media to join this annual party. Mr. Chi-Chuan Huang said industry experienced financial tsunami and was gradually recovering, yet still in the difficult time. MIRDC realizes the manufacturers’ situation and gives certain discount to the manufacturers in the disaster hit area when MIRDC extends routine service, such as inspection and certification. Though discount service may somewhat affect turnover, yet 2009 performance experienced a considerable growth to NT$2 billion under concerted effort of all MIRDC colleagues. Mr. Chi-Chuan Huang also indicated that MIRDC industrial service scope has expanded from traditional metal processing industry to medical devices, electrical vehicle, biotechnology, opto-electronics and semiconductor industries. MIRDC has truly offered its service to metal and its related industries. Finally Mr. Chi-Chuan Huang said that MIRDC annual turnover will grow 10% as target to work for in the upcoming few years and reach NT$2.5 billion within three years, facilitating that more industries and manufacturers will increase their values due to MIRDC assistance.
