CSC, MIRDC and Automobile Stamping Parts Research Alliance companies held jointly a research presentation seminar at MIRDC on 7th of July. There are six sessions on topics such as the development of advanced high-strength steels, digitized module technology and the development of forming and spot welding technology for advanced high-strength steels, etc.
In order to add high value to automobile industry, CSC invited 8 automobile parts companies to form an “Automobile OEM” and an “Automobile AM” Research Alliance in year 2007. After 2 years’ efforts, the Automobile Stamping Parts Research Alliance had reached its fruitful achievement.
In the future MIRDC will base on its rich experiences to apply current technology to automobile stamping parts development, which requires forward looking and innovative new materials and products. MIRDC will also assist automobile stamping parts industry in its growth by providing technology classification, industry diagnosis, and industry analysis etc. Developing its high quality and high-added value, automobile stamping parts industry will take the lead in making Taiwan the base of global automobile parts supply and research.
