Since electrical and electronic components develop into high performance and multi-function, the single metal gradually cannot meet the requirements of application. The development of roll bonding and clad rolling technology can provide multi-function metal that can satisfy the demand of downstream industries. The current applications including Al/Cu bonding metal of high performance bonding heat sink module and Ag/Cu bonding metal of anti-corrosion electrical contact material have been successfully developed. Additionally bonding materials, such as Al/Nb, Al/steel, Al/SUS, Al/Ti, Cu/Ti, Cu/Ni, are continuously developed and widely applied in the civil, energy, petrochemical, machinery, electrical and electronic industries. The foreign large corporations of bonding materials, including EMS and TMI, mainly focus on the development and application of combining the bonding materials. The project not only proactively accumulates the experiences of material combination, but also increases the precision and performance of bonding materials. The project execution will assist the upgrading of technical capabilities for domestic machinery industry and facilitate the value-added heightening of domestic material industry.
