“2019 Healthcare+ EXPO TAIWAN” was grandly opened from 5th to 8th December 2019 at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 2. Southern Taiwan Science Park (STSP) worked closely with Metal Industries Research and Development Centre (MIRDC) to establish the “Theme Area for Southern Smart Biomedical Industry Cluster” in leading the domestic health industry trend, expanding the topic focus, and focusing on the Three Core Themes "efficient medical care", "smart healthcare", and "technical health". It is important to combine Taiwan's most unique medical technology and telecommunications technology to connect domestic significant medical associations to showcase the latest medical product technologies.
Dr. Chih-Lung Lin, vice president of MIRDC stated that dental device companies included TITC, CHOICE BIOTECH, Codent, TISS, and plastic surgical products such as AVTECH, Jianxin, together with Chuang Yi, YB Biotech, INGROWTH BIOTECH, EXCELSIUS, and CHARSIRE medical device related companies together were invited to join the Theme Area for Southern Smart Biomedical Industry Cluster. With the high quality and reputation of each brand were trusted by doctors. Also, a Technology Exchange and Business Matching of STSP Smart Biomedical Industry Settlement & TransMedx Joint Results Presentation were held by STSP. At the exhibition, the latest smart product technology and medical information were published. Meanwhile, invited experts also shared modern treatment methods, including new plant medicines of treating wounds and wound care with innovative material technologies. This also made the visitors to stay fresh and be knowledgeable.
STSP has been played the leading role in making efforts to assist domestic manufacturers, develop their own brands, enhance good reputation, and to expand the market. MIRDC has been deeply involved in the medical devices market for a long time, innovating and upgrading, and diversified marketing, and assisting STSP to jointly enhance the competitiveness of Taiwan's medical device industry. In the future, MIRDC will continue to introduce software and hardware system data integration, integrate treatment methods with information systems, and locate the right partners for deployment from basic patient management, clinical information, radiology and medical imaging, and other diverse module technologies in order to target a long-term development of future smart biomedical settlements for STSP.
