MIRDC Leads the Taiwan Orthopedic Devices Supply Industry into Europe

MIRDC leads Taiwan orthopedic devices supply vendors in attending the 15th annual EFORT Congress 2014 (through the Taiwan Excellence Image Hall) from June 4th – 6th in London, England. Participation in this exhibition is expected to pioneer entry into additional international markets and successfully match the European medical supply distributor Aquilant Orthopaedics with the Taiwan orthopedic devices supply industry.

MIRDC Vice President Lin, Chih-Lung indicated that five Taiwan industry operators participated in this exhibition, including United Orthopedic Corporation, INTAI Technology Corporation, Paonan Biotech Co., Ltd., A-Spine Asia Co., Ltd., and SciVision Biotech Inc. By using a strategic marketing alliance of the Taiwan orthopedics industry model to expand participation in the 15th EFORT Congress 2014, Taiwan industry vendors can expect to meet potential customers from over 100 countries and more than 9000 orthopedic surgeons and end clients that make up the participants of the exhibition. In this manner, Taiwan vendors can use comprehensive marketing to enhance synergy from the international exhibition.

The EFORT Congress 2014 that Taiwan vendors are participating in is the largest orthopedic annual conference in all of Europe, and is held in different nations each year by EFORT, the most important orthopedic association in Europe. This exhibition provides participating vendors an opportunity to directly face end users (orthopedic doctors) in the industry and promote their products. Vendor products in this year’s exhibition include artificial joints, spinal fixation implants, TRAUMA, bone screws, bone plates, Hyaluronate (hyaluronic acid) subcutaneous filling agents, and intra-articular injections. This exhibition not only can publicize the importance of Taiwan orthopedic devices supply, but can also produce trade with the European medical supply distributor Aquilant Orthopaedics and promote international industry cooperation.

Lin, Chih-Lung stated that MIRDC has actively integrated domestic vendors and industry alliances for exhibition participation in recent years. Performance has grown annually and the results have gained the recognition of industry operators and increased their willingness to participate in exhibitions. MIRDC has been crossing into the medical devices market for seven years. In addition to using its advantage in metal material development and manufacturing to help domestic traditional industry operators transition into high quality product manufacturing, MIRDC has also established industry clusters and brands, pioneered international business opportunities and other marketing aspects, and worked to improve industry competitiveness. This time MIRDC has integrated the Taiwan orthopedic industry into direct sales with end customers and strengthened the recognition and trust of end users towards Taiwan products.
