To consolidate the global competitiveness of Taiwan’s engineering industry, MIDRC, commissioned by the Public Construction Commission of the Executive Yuan, set up a project office on 29 April, 2014, and later on invited related industrial associations and companies to jointly establish the Engineering Industry Overseas Development Strategic Appliance. So far, six meetings have been held for alliance members to exchange ideas and experiences of bidding for overseas projects, thereby supporting them for successful bidding in the future.
