In the IDS-2013 (35th International Dental Show at Cologne, Germany), MIRDC and Taiwan dental manufacturer Codent form alliance with British partner The Barden Corporation to broaden Taiwan dental materials in European market. Having put research resources in dental industry for seven years, MIRDC and local manufacturers have obtained an excellent performance in recent international medical related fairs, including the world biggest dental fair in IDS-2013 at Cologne.
Led by MIRDC vice president Dr. Chih-lung Lin, the Taiwan exhibition group increases to 11 manufacturers. The outcome in 34th IDS-2011 is very fruitful, said Dr. Lin, so that the joint exhibition this year is expanded to boost the marketing value. Codent’s major product is high/low speed handpiece. MIRDC facilitates the cooperation between Codent and The Barden Corporation UK. For the past four years, MIRDC proactively unites Taiwan manufacturers to join international medical fairs, including IDS-2009 in Cologne, Chicago Midwinter Meeting 2010, IDS-2011 in Cologne and HOSPITALAR 2012 in St. Paul, Brazil where MIRDC signed a MOU with Sino-Brasileiro to expand South-American market.
Other major products exhibited this year, along with Codent’s handpiece, include dental implant, crown, dental luting cement, dental X-ray machine, intraoral dental camera, dental chair, dental guiding system etc. This is the seventh year MIRDC has been dedicated to medical materials market. Based on previous metal materials and processing technologies, MIRDC manages to promote the competitiveness of local manufacturers by building industries clusters, branding and international marketing. IDS-2013 with more than 2,000 exhibitors attracts up to 100 thousands global buyers and is the appealing destination for Taiwan manufacturers.
