After signing MOU with Technology Advanced Metropolitan Area (TAMA) of Japan on September 18, 2012, MIRDC signs the cooperative MOU with Japanese Oita Industrial Group Association on November 23, 2012 to enhance substantial exchange platform and facilitate intensive interaction between Taiwan and Japanese industries.
Mr. Chi-chuan Huang, Chairman of MIRDC indicates that MIRDC maintians a close relationship with Japanese industry in the aspects of technology and business opportunities. MIRDC always copes with Taiwan-Japan Bridge Promotion Program, MIRDC signs MOU with TAMA of Japan and further establishes the cooperative relation with Japanese leading manufacutrer, including IHI Corporation. Mr. Huang expects to set up mutually beneficial industrial chain, furthermore he hopes Taiwan’s advantages and specialized industries to generate a complimentary value with Japanese industry.
Based on mutual agreement, the exchange scope includes high value metal material, rapid and micro machining, machining, automation, energy, automotive, biotech foods and medical devices that substantiate mutual cooperative issues. To further realize Taiwan industry, MIRDC arranges the visit of MIRDC Kaohsiung Headquarters for Oita Industrial Group Association with hope of realizing MIRDC current R&D capabilities. Additionally MIRDC makes the arrangement for the Association to visit the medical device industry cluser and medical device laboratories at Kaohsiung Science Park as well Magnate Technology Company. MIRDC expects to bring Taiwan-Japan relations more closer, meantime MIRDC hopes to facilitate Japanese makers locate their cooprative makers in Taiwan and establish substantial cooperative programs.
