Engineering Research Center for High Value-added Metal Industries established to join MIRDC's efforts in realizing a high value-dded vision

After organizing the International Forum on High Value-added for Metal Industries in December 2011, MIRDC further strengthened its partnership with China Steel on April 10 with the establishment of Engineering Research Center for High Value-added Metal Industries (ERC), in the hope of enabling breakthroughs in comprehensive industry-wise upgrade with joint R&D resources. In the future ERC will use material development as the lever for industry-wise upgrade under the vision of "Industry-research Partnership for the Co-creation of New Business Opportunities Driven by Materials and Manufacturing," thereby generating new growth dynamics for metals industries and related applications in Taiwan.
