2024 03 MIRDC's "Mold Industry Digital Transformation Key Technology Development Project," "AI System Development for Intelligent Robotics and Manufacturing," and "Plant-Based Beverage Processing Machinery Improvement Project" received "Excellent" ratings from the Department of Industrial Technology, MOEA.
2024 03 MIRDC's Mechanical Testing Laboratory (Certification No. 0099) successfully completed the TAF accreditation assessment for the addition of dynamic fatigue testing.
2024 03 MIRDC successfully completed the TAF ISO 17021 management system certification body assessment and received a 3-year certification extension on July 4th.
2024 03 MIRDC signed an MOU with Tien-Li Offshore Wind Technology Co., Ltd. with the goal of enhancing talent development in the offshore wind energy industry. This collaboration will focus on practical training for industry professionals, to meet the industry’s needs for operations and maintenance in offshore wind energy.
2024 03 MIRDC also signed an MOU with the Taiwan Fastener Trading Association to develop a structured talent development framework for the fastener industry. The goal is to bridge the gap between academia and industry, expedite the transfer of technical expertise, and broaden entry channels for new professionals entering the industry.
2024 02 MIRDC signed a four-year Letter of Intent (LOI) for technical cooperation with the Hydrogen Energy Test and Research Center (HyTReC) in Japan and MOSA Industrial Corporation (MOSA). The agreement focuses on the joint development and testing of hydrogen storage components (valves and cylinders) for hydrogen-powered vehicles. Both parties will exchange expertise in technology consulting, research, development, and training.
2024 02 MIRDC's "F16 Aircraft Maintenance System Promotion and Expansion Project" was recognized as an 'Outstanding Project' in the Performance Evaluation of the Outline Plan by the Industrial Development Administration, MOEA.
2024 02 The "Metal Materials and Process Optimization Project," "Digital Transformation for the Electromechanical Industry Project," "Offshore Wind Industry Counseling and Zero-Carbon Technology Promotion Project," and the "Intelligent Manufacturing for the Electromechanical Industry Project" were recognized as 'Outstanding Projects' in the Performance Evaluation of the Outline Plan by the Industrial Development Administration, MOEA.
2024 02 MIRDC's "Electronics Equipment Industry Development Project," "Plumbing Hardware and Hand Tools Industry Upgrade Project," and the "Home Appliance Industry Counseling Project" were recognized as 'Outstanding Projects' in the Performance Evaluation of the Outline Plan by the Industrial Development Administration, MOEA.
2024 02 On February 20, 2024, Yung-Hsiang Lai, President of MIRDC presented the 2023 Annual Business Report at MIRDC’s 24th Board of Directors Meeting (3rd session). In 2023, MIRDC’s revenue exceeded NT$43.7 billion for the first time, surpassing NT$40 billion, in alignment with government industrial policies. Notably, private sector revenue reached NT$11.2 billion, setting a new record. This reflects MIRDC’s successful efforts in promoting industrial services. Moving forward, MIRDC will continue to enhance and adjust organizational management efficiency and mechanisms to adapt to changing market conditions and further improve overall operational performance.
