History

2003 05 MIRDC has been authorized by Industrial Development Bureau (IDB) of Ministry of Economic Affairs as a qualified institute to both Management Consulting and Technology of Design.
2002 12 The High-Performance Light Metal Applications & Demonstration Factory including 1,500T Magnesium Die Casting Equipment, and 2,000T Tube Hydro-forming Equipment was set up in the campus of Kaohsiung.
2002 08 The Laboratory of Electrical Appliances Safety in Taichung has been approved by CNLA (Chinese National Laboratory Accreditation) and BSMI to provide product safety testing services to the machinery and household electrical appliances.
2001 12 MIRDC has acquired the accreditation of ISO 9001-2000 (upgrading version) Quality Assurance System by the Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection (BSMI) of Ministry of Economic Affairs.
2001 10 “The five years research and development project on metal processing technology of key components” has been honored by Department of Industrial Technology (DoIT) of Ministry of Economic Affairs as one of the excellent Technology Development Programs of the year.
2001 09 The Valve International Test Centre of MIRDC has been certified by CNLA (Chinese National Laboratory Accreditation) as the first national accreditation valve lab. in Taiwan.
2001 01 MIRDC has been authorized by IDB of Ministry of Economic Affairs as a qualified institute to provide automation engineering services.
2000 12 MIRDC has been credited by IDB of Ministry of Economic Affairs as one of the excellent service institutes of 2000.
2000 03 MIRDC has been authorized by Industrial Development Bureau (IDB) of Ministry of Economic Affairs as a qualified institute to provide e-business engineering services. Dec. 2000 Valve International Testing Service Center wasset up at the campus of Chung Shan Institute of Science and Technology in 2000. With the cooperation of UL in the U.S., TUV in Germany and BVQI in France, MIRDC can assist domestic companies in obtaining valve products certification.
1999 10 “The five years R&D project on mold and die technology for industrial use” has been honored by Department of Industrial Technology (DoIT) of Ministry of Economic Affairs as one of the excellent Technology Development Programs of the year.
