Taiwan Automotive Research Consortium (TARC) (Mechanical Industry Research Laboratories of ITRI (MIRL/ITRI), Automotive Research & Testing Center (ARTC), Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology (CSIST) and MIRDC) hosted the first Taiwan Automotive International Forum & Exhibition (TAIFE-2005) at Taipei International Convention Center on November 17 & 19 to invite Mr. Yasuaki Hashimoto, vice president of Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. and Mr. Motonobu Takemoto, president of Toyota Motor Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. as keynote speakers as well as the four largest global auto parts suppliers to join the forum. 500 international & domestic experts participated in TAIFE-2005. The forum facilitated Magna International Corp. to plan the setup of R&D center in Taiwan. |
