2006 07 Promote and facilitate Kinpo Electronics Inc., Siliconware Precision Industries Co., Ltd. and Accurus Scientific Co., Ltd. to establish “R & D Alliance of Multi-Alloy Lead Free Soldering Process”
2006 06 Hold “Implementation Achievements and Exhibition of Science and Technology Project in 2006” on June 6 – 8.
2006 05 Assist Southern Taiwan Science Park Administration to plan Medical Devices Industry District of Kaohsiung Biotechnology Park.
2006 04 Ink a strategic alliance with National University of Kaohsiung on April 29.
2006 04 Ink a strategic alliance with Taiwan Mold & Die Industry Association on April 13.
2006 03 Dr. Weng-Sing Hwang led a delegation to attend the first executive meeting of International Communication Program of Japan Institute of Light Metals to promote the international cooperation of light metals (Al and Mg) for Japan, Taiwan, China (Chinese delegate didn’t attend the meeting) and South Korea. The meeting resolved to proactively conduct various cooperative planning. Dr. Weng-Sing Hwang, President of MIRDC, was recommended as Taiwanese representative of Board of Director.
2006 03 Department of Industrial Technology, Ministry of Economic Affairs approved to conclude “The Initial Research Plan of Manufacturing System Technology for Automotive Engine Key Components”.
2006 03 Department of Industrial Technology, Ministry of Economic Affairs approved to conclude “The Setup Project of Micro Mold & Forming Common Laboratory”.
2006 02 MIRDC became one of RoHS Service Assistance Team members of Ministry of Economic Affairs to offer evaluation, assistance and improvement on RoHS conformability to 60 large enterprises, their supply system and public listed enterprises that have products exported to Europe.
