2008 01 MIRDC executes “The Research Planning of Innovation and Advanced Technology in MIRDC”.
2007 12 Ink strategic alliance with National Kaohsiung University of Applied Sciences to conduct cooperation of micro EDM technology.
2007 12 Ink strategic alliance with Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology (CSIST) to conduct cooperation of material testing and instrument calibration.
2007 12 From December 3 -5, MIRDC holds “2007 Asian Forum on Light Metals & Exhibition” at Ambassador Hotel-Kaohsiung to invite 26 foreign speakers and have won acclaims from Industrial Development Bureau, Ministry of Economic Affairs, Kaohsiung City Government, Japan and Korea. .
2007 09 From September 11 to 13, Taiwan Automotive Research Consortium(TARC) (Mechanical Industry Research Laboratories of Industrial Technology Research Institute (MIRL/ITRI, Automotive Research & Testing Centre (ARTC), Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology (CSIST), MIRDC) holds “2007 Taiwan Automotive International Forum & Exhibition (TAIFE)” in Taipei, featuring “Oriental Power & Global Pulsation –The Evolution of Movability”.
2007 06 Hold 2007 Symposium of Advanced Manufacturing Technology at MIRDC’s auditorium to invite professor Matsushita Tomiharu, Dr. Atsumi Ohno, Mr. Nakada Takaaki and Dr. Peter Liaw on June 28.
2007 05 Assist to promote Steel Structure R&D Alliance (Upgrading and Development Project of Steel Structure Industry) at China Steel Corp. on May 18.
2007 04 On April 3, Meeting of Board of Directors passes Dr. Hsin-Chia Kuo as president
2007 04 On April 4, MIRDC inks international cooperation agreement with Magna to conduct design & research of automotive chassis weight reduction. The ceremony is held by Mr. Chien-Hsing Tsai, Chairman of the Board, the inking representative is Mr. Frank O’Brien, vice president of Magna and Dr. Paul Chung respectively.
