2010 06 MIRDC signed a MOU on patent licensing with Promell Materials Technology to assist the company in developing automated alignment module critical to the image server in laminating devices with mobile touch-control electronic panel display and related systems integration and training.
2010 06 MIRDC signed a MOU on partnership with VERO Software Plc to jointly develop and design guidance systems on VERO’s VISI CAD software.
2010 06 MIRDC signed a MOU on patent licensing with Progress Y&Y Group to assist the company in developing pre-bonding device for mobile electronic touch-control panel and related systems integration and training.
2010 05 MIRDC hosted the Seminar on Opportunities and Challenges for Photovoltaic and Semi-conductor Industries, which was organized under the project for boosting self-production rate for flat panel display, at NTU International Conference Hall. This fruitful event saw an attendance of over 100 delegates from 98 companies.
2010 04 MIRDC signed a MOU on technological cooperation with China Petroleum Corp. to promote the production of biomass diesel through Carbon Dioxide Fixation by Algae.
2010 03 MIRDC signed a strategic alliance with National Instruments to strengthen the promotion of cooperation and training in systems control services and to further industry-R&D cooperation, exchange and reciprocity.
2010 02 On Feb. 24, the Joint-signing Ceremony and Presentation 2009 of Southern Taiwan Medical Device Industrial Cluster Development Project was organized by MIRDC and attended by about 150 people.
2010 01 On Jan. 13 in Taipei, MIRDC signed a technology transfer contract with United Orthopedic Corporation to assist the company in expanding its production capacity by establishing forging production line for orthopedic devices and materials in Kaohsiung Science Park.
2010 01 MRIDC established a Brittle Materials Laboratory at Benjou Wastewater Treatment Plant in Gangshan, Kaohsiung City for the effective implementation of electronic ceramic applications, thereby assisting the industry in developing precision ceramic products and related production process technologies.
2010 01 MIRDC launched the project for developing critical technologies for system modules of electrical motor vehicles, which brings together capacities from MIRDC, Mechanical and System Research Laboratories of ITRI, ARTC and Chun-shan Institute of Science and Technology to establish modules for E-Van and E-Bus platforms, based on which to develop high-usage electrical vehicle fleets and chassis for electrical motor vehicles.
