On May,25, MIRDC has created a Mold Value Creation Platform (MVCP) that connects 8 agencies from the industry, the education and the R&D sectors to enable cross-platform exchanges and mutual search functions, with the aim of supporting the mold industry with abundant databases, professional software and engineering service teams. Services at this platform are initially available for member companies of the Mold Industry Association but can be expanded to include over 10,000 companies in the future through multiple platforms. |

On Apr,11, MIRDC Chairman Huang Chi-chuan led an R&D team to visit Chung Hsing Electric and Machinery, a leader in heavy electric equipment and electricity engineering in Linko, Taoyuan County to strengthen their partnership with the signing of an MOU, which aims for joint R&D efforts in areas of technology cooperation like metal materials and products, development of molds and micro precision parts, automated equipment and management, photoelectric and energy equipment, and development, testing and validation of medical devices. |

Testing Laboratory for Middle & Small Wind Turbine System of MIRDC has cooperated with TUV-SUD. Additionally this Testing Laboratory applies for TAF extensional certification in the items of noise, function and safety and estimates to obtain TAF certification in March 2012. The Testing Laboratory is the only one that has been certified by TAF. |
