2020 08 MIRDC and Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy Offshore Wind Limited signed an MOU to plan the advanced and customized courses for professional talents required by the setup and O&M of offshore wind farm.
2020 08 MIRDC and Meng Sing Material Co., Ltd. signed an MOU to proactively promote the industry-research cooperation and establish the demand oriented cooperative platform.
2020 07 MIRDC and Taiwan Fastener Trading Association signed an MOU to promote the talents development for fasteners industry.
2020 07 MIRDC, DNV Gl, CR, SOIC and TERTEC signed an MOU to build up the local expertise for local offshore wind project certification.
2020 07 MIRDC's Test Technology Development Section has obtained the qualification of rubber category as third-party assistant inspection unit by Board of Industrial Cooperation Development, Ministry of National Defense.
2020 07 MIRDC's Cigu Small Wind Turbine Test Site completed the certification of increased item "load design evaluation" to become the first laboratory to be equipped with test and design evaluation for small wind turbine.
2020 07 MIRDC is Taiwan's first R&D institute which obtains the national certification of ISO ISO 17065 by TAF to re-enhance the project certification capabilities of local offshore wind farm and provide international-level certification services for wind farm developers.
2020 07 MIRDC's International Testing Services for Valve Products at Longtan increased API 641 emission standard for valve products and stretching, deflection angle, bending and flattening testing standards and methods for metal piping products of JWWA, Taiwan Water Corp. and Taipei Water Department to obtain five new certified items by TAF.
2020 07 MIRDC assisted the Chang Hwa County to execulte "Upgrading and Marketing Program of Plumbing Industry" and jointly set up Taiwan plumbing Industry Center with Plumbing Association of Taiwan, Central Industry-Academy Promotion Section of Ministry of Education, Taiwan Plumbing Research & Testing Laboratories (TPL) and Home Application and Multi-Intelligence Laboratories (Homi) in providing Taiwanese manufacturers with technical upgrade, design assistance and inspection & certification services.
2020 06 MIRDC assisted Aerospace Industrial Development Corporation (AIDC) to complete the development mission of national aircraft. On June 22, 2020, Tsai Ing-wen, the President of ROC hosted the first flight ceremony of the fifth generation advanced jet trainer at Taichung AIDC. Combining military with civilian develops the key technologies of aerospace industry to reduce the development burden of private seector and comprehensively the international competitiveness of Taiwan aerospacce industry.
