2020 12 "Application of Microwave Heating System in the Synthetic Fabric Rapid Dyeing", developed by MIRDC's Opto-Electronics Technology Section has obtained 2020 "National Innovation Award" by Institute for Biotechnology and Medicine Industry.
2020 12 MIRDC is engaged in cooperation with Yeou Yih Steel to establish the demonstration site of the first regenerative combustion industrial furnace in large batch. This is the first time to apply the regenerative combusion system in large-batch industrial furnace over 1 million kcal/hr and develop the configurable design technology, intelligent distributed temperature control technology and furnace body energy efficiency certification technology in saving energy of large-batch industrial furnace by 30-40%.
2020 12 MIRDC's International Testing Services for Valve Products at Longtan increased the flow testing capability, covering the flow scope 5~1400 GPM, pressure/differential pressure scope from 150 to 2000 in-H2O, fluid working pressure 4~10 kgf/cm2, flow output scope reaching 1400GPM to provide the industry with 1/2~4 inch industrial control value design certification.
2020 12 MIRDC and National United University signed an MOU to effectively integrate acadmic and practical resources and enhance industry-research cooperative mechanism.
2020 12 MIRDC implemented "The Upgrading and Transformation Promotion Program of Offshore Wind Energy and Solar Photovoltaic Industries" and "The Advance Welding Talents Training of Underwater Foundation Supply Chain Steel Structure Industry", sponsored by Industrial Development Bureau, MOEA. The program has achieved the mission of completing the training 26 6 GR advanced talents to solve the delayed production schedule due to insufficient advanced welding talents which affect the localization of offshore wind energy and grid-connected power generation.
2020 11 MIRDC and National Chung Hsin University signed an MOU to effectively apply technologies and human resources of two parties for promoting technical development and facilitating industry technical upgrading.
2020 11 MIRDC and Taiwan Sekiguchi Industry Co., Ltd. signed an MOU to proactively promote the industry-research cooperation and establish the demand oriented cooperation platform.
2020 11 MIRDC's controllable hydro-reactive magnesium alloy has obtained 2020 R&D 100 Awards.
2020 11 MIRDC's continuously rotating wind turbine UAV inspection system has obtained 2020 R&D 100 Awards.
2020 10 MIRDC and Swancor Renewable Energy Co., Ltd. signed an MOU to promote the cooperation of floating wind farm in Taiwan.
