2021 04 MIRDC has won the "Performance Award of Industry-Academia Cooperation Outstanding Unit" by Chinese Institute of Engineers for the six consecutive year.
2021 03 MIRDC has assisted Dermacare Biomed Inc. to obtain the permit of the first vital injector in Taiwan, issued by Ministry of Health and Welfare. Vital injector is invasive intradermal injecting using a syringe through precision machine control to achieve safer and stable therapeutic effect.
2021 03 MIRDC was entrusted by Transformation Program for Colleges and Universities of Ministry of Education to assist Central Taiwan University of Science and Technology to establish Centri Taiwan Day Care Center within campus in implementing the development of healthcare industry, industry-academic cooperation and talents cultivation.
2021 03 MIRDC, Taiwan Drone Association, Taiwan UAS Development Association, Jong Shyn Shipbuilding, GEOSA Aerospace & Technology Inc., Thunder Tiger Corp., Coretronic Intelligent Robotics Corp., and Taiwan UAV Ltd. signed the cooperative MOU to expand the application site of drone and provide the industry with total solution.
2021 01 MIRDC and Evergreen Aviation Technologies Corp. signed an MOU to facilitate the industry-research cooperation and develop the machining technologies of aircraft engine parts.
2021 01 MIRDC and KYMCO signed the strategic alliance to effectively apply talents exchange and knowledge sharing of two parties in order to jointly promote technical development for increasing industry competitive strength.
2021 01 MIRDC and Compal Electronics signed an MOU to use "application of metal matrix hybrid materials to 3C products cases" as theme to develop new materials for 5G laptop chassis.
2021 01 MIRDC's Maritime Technology Innovation Center (MTIC), planned by Bureau of Energy and executed & established by MIRDC at Xing Da Harbor, Kaohsiung. On January 11, 2021, Mei-hua Wang, the Minister of Ministry of Economic Affairs, Cheng-wei Yu, the Director of Bureau of Energy, MOEA, Chi-mai Chen, Kaohsiung Mayor, Ren-yi Lin, the Chairman of MIRDC and Chiu-feng Lin, the President of MIRDC jointly participated in the opening ceremony to mark a milestone of green energy project.
2021 01 MIRDC's Maritime Competency Technology Development Section, MTIC has been certified by Global Wind Organization (GWO) to provide 5 sections with 15 professional courses, required by wind energy industry and become the only one international training provider, certified by GWO in Asia.
2020 12 MIRDC has obtained gold award of "Technical R&D Category" in 2020 Energy Award evaluation by Bureau of Energy, MOEA.
