2023 05 Signed an MOU with SAP to develop value-added applications and solutions for an industrial cloud platform, based on cloud services and a cooperation agreement between both parties. The collaboration aims to enhance industrial technology and applications and promote joint proposals between the two parties through a cooperative model, with the goal of improving industry-specific technology and applications.
2023 05 Signed a letter of intent with Autodesk Taiwan Co., Ltd. and WEBIM Services Co., Ltd. to collaborate on the "Smart Fastener Design Platform Service". Leveraging the technological strengths of all three parties, the collaboration aims to integrate and co-create industry services.
2023 05 Signed a letter of intent with SAP and CHSI to jointly launch the "Fastener Cloud 3.0/CBAM Enterprise Carbon Management Platform Service", aimed at assisting the fastener industry in complying with the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) regulations, completing carbon audits, and aligning with international standards.
2023 04 Signed a letter of intent with EGS Taiwan Co., Ltd. to assist in the development of Taiwan's marine and underwater technology industry, for the purpose of promoting the development and protection of the ocean. The goal is to establish an internationally competitive team of remotely operated underwater vehicle (ROV) experts to meet the needs of international developers. The collaboration will include research and development of ROV technology, operation and maintenance, and industry services.
2023 04 Signed a memorandum of cooperation with Subnet Services Ltd. from the UK to provide international strategic cooperation for the Maritime Technology Innovation Center (MTIC) to obtain International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) T2 membership and ROV operation training technology.
2023 04 MIRDC developed the "4D (3D+Dissimilar) Printed of solid state process" and established the first friction stir welding demonstration production line in Taiwan. Combining the advantages of heterogeneous metals, MIRDC created high-strength and lightweight products, winning the Bronze Edison Award in the United States.
2023 04 The "Continuous Tracking Surgical Assistance System (CTSAS)" provided a digital healthcare solution using a new design localized markers and localized technology that significantly reduces the space occupied while maintaining precise localization accuracy. During surgery, it continuously provides surgeons with "real-time dynamic image" information. This solution has won the Silver Edison Award in the United States.
2023 03 MIRDC has been approved and verified by the Ministry of Environment and is the first corporate entity in the country to obtain recognition as a greenhouse gas verification organization.
2023 03 MIRDC participated in the "Medical Device Industry Technical Assistance and Promotion Program" in 2023, commissioned by the Industrial Development Bureau, MOEA, and promoted the overall strategy and planning of the medical device industry, enhancing its international visibility and global competitiveness. As a result, it was awarded the "Outline Plan Performance Evaluation Outstanding Program".
2023 03 MIRDC participated in the "Promoting the Smart Manufacturing Program for the Machinery and Electrical Industries," "Development Program for the Electronic Equipment Industry," "Upgrading Program for the Plumbing and Hand Tool Industry," "Digital Transformation and Enhancement Program for the Metal Machinery and Electrical Industry," and "Assistance Program for the Home Appliance Industry" in 2023, and developed strategies, promoted the development of domestic manufacturers, and achieved the goals of the programs. These projects have achieved an excellent program for evaluating the performance of the IDB outline plan.
