In response to the government's net-zero carbon emission policy, MIRDC signed a memorandum (MOU) of cooperation with Nidec, the world's number one integrated motor design and manufacturer, on May 28. Based on Nidec's Synchronous Reluctance Motor with Aluminum Cage Rotor (SynRATM), both parties Join hands with in-depth strategic cooperation to carry out cooperation plans for the development and commercialization of high-efficiency motors and jointly carry out cooperation projects such as technology research and development, manufacturing and terminal applications of high-efficiency motor system-related products. In the future, we both parties will target industrial energy-saving motor-related equipment in the early stages and then expand to other industrial motor application fields.

The era of high-efficiency motors has arrived, and significant international manufacturers have laid out related product lines for reluctance motors. Therefore, MIRDC is actively working with Nidec to develop driverless motors with the synchronous characteristics of induction motors and meet the requirements of high-efficiency synchronous reluctance motors. Nidec's advantage in high-efficiency motor design is its customized motor design, which can accurately analyze factors that consume product life, such as motor vibration and noise. The advantages of MIRDC are load-matching verification and industrial application promotion. It can perform CAE analysis, manufacturing assembly integration matching, product performance verification and intelligent industrial equipment system integration.

This cooperation conforms to the world's low-carbon trend and achieves the ultimate goal of energy conservation and carbon reduction. MIRDC integrates Nidec's synchronous reluctance motor technology into Taiwan's industrial energy-saving applications. It also plans to cooperate with the Taiwan Motor Industry Association (TMIA) to establish a demonstration production line of Synchronous Reluctance Motors and jointly promote the technological achievements to TMIA members and other domestic industries. MIRDC is a manufacturer of energy-saving motor equipment. In the future, the MIRDC will also target energy conservation and establish an industry alliance in industrial energy-saving motors to jointly promote industrial energy-saving motor equipment and thereby achieve the government's energy-saving goals.
