Invited by XOAR in the USA, the Intelligent Vehicle Centre (IVC) of MIRDC participated in AUVSI XPONENTIAL held in Chicago, USA. On May, 1st (Wed.), XOAR and MIRDDC also entered into a MOU signing, which included access of MIRDC’s UAV for XOAR and customized analysis technology. Under the collaboration, IVC will provide technical capabilities to assist XOAR in the test and certification of motors and propeller applications in order to connect Taiwan and the USA in terms of industrial application, which allows both parties to develop businesses and solid collaboration in achieving mutual benefits and win-win situation.

It has been 48 years since the first AUVSI XPONENTIAL held by the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International. Among 700 manufacturers from more than 60 countries, these elite high-tech companies all over the world introduced their latest intelligent products and showcased the innovative technologies as well as actual applications to 8500 customers. Located in California, the USA, XOAR, which has been developing key components and propellers with their experiences in aerial field of over 40 years, invited MIRDC to co-participate in the exhibition with long endurance & heavy duty AI UAV developed and analyzed by the latter with the patented UAV technologies. Based on actual testing, the features include loads up to 35kg, flight time over 180 minutes, optional auxiliaries of communication and inspection equipment, as well as long flight time without landing for re-charging. In days to come, it is expected to accelerate the international market expansion through customized designs, analysis, and applications on disaster relief, wind power, and national defense, we are positive of leading domestic and foreign technologies to soar into the sky.
