2017 08 In response to the government’s 5+2 Major Innovative Industries Plan, MIRDC and Yokogawa Solution Service Corporation signed an MOU on technological collaboration related to the implementation of “minimal fab” on August 4, 2017. The introduction of minimal fab’s equipment and related knowhow enables MIRDC and Yokogawa to jointly build an advantageous position ahead of the next wave of technological innovation with aim at the demands for low volume and diversified prototype production, thereby offering comprehensive and complete solutions to future IoT application developers and research institutions. It is hoped to obtain additional observations of the industry and identify future prospects together, so that more semiconductor design firms can manufacture products on a more flexible basis, and the strategic collaboration aimed at the low-volume and diversified semiconductor production demands can be made in the era of IoT, thereby creating new opportunities for semiconductor technology.
2017 06 In June 2017, MIRDC and National Sun Yat-sen University signed a contract to develop high pressure simulation experimental observation system that is the first research equipment to test 4,500 meter deep.
2017 06 MIRDC, Futaba Corporation and National Taiwan Ocean University signed a MOU to effectively apply the technical capabilities of three parties and to lay a foundation for jointly promoting the development of industrial assistance business in Japan and Taiwan as well as facilitating the increase of industrial technologies.
2017 06 On June 1, 2017, MIRDC collaborated with SGS Japan Inc. of overseas authorization in the field of inspection and test. In the future, MIRDC is able to provide Taiwan enterprises that intend to export their products to Japan with the services. The products can be inspected and tested at MIRDC instead of Japan, the collaboration certainly benefits Taiwan assistive technology industry to explore Japanese market.
2017 06 MIRDC and Germany KARLSRUHE INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY(KIT) signed a MOU to facilitate international collaboration between two parties in the fields of micro manufacturing and new energy.
2017 06 MIRDC and Malaysian VERTIS TECHNOLOGIES SDN. BHD. signed a MOU to collaboratively conduct the research and development, small scale experimental test, establish the commercial plants with focus on supercritical fluid extracting technology and seek the cooperative opportunities with other enterprises in Malaysia.
2017 06 MIRDC, Nippon Kaiji Kyokai (ClassNK) and CR Classification Society signed a MOU to establish the collaborative relationship in the field of on offshore wind farm project certification.
2017 06 MIRDC and Russian TECHNOSPARK Nanotech Center signed a MOU to conduct trade and technical cooperation in the fields of semiconductor and medical device.
2017 06 Under the support of Industrial Development Bureau, MOEA and the assistance of Science & Technology Division and Economic Division in Moscow, MIRDC, Taiwan maker, FairTech, Russian PIC and Optosystems signed a joint research MOU on June 22, 2017. Dr. Chiu-feng Lin, President, PIC, Optosystems and FairTech will cooperate in the fields of semiconductor equipment and medical device to establish a cooperative platform between Taiwan and Russian industries. The platform will increase the technical capabilities of Taiwan makers to explore foreign market via technical exchange and commercial discussion with foreign institutes, thus improving the international competitive advantage of Taiwan makers.
2017 06 Natural Products Innovation Laboratories (NPiL) joined “2017 BioTaiwan Exhibition” from June 29 to July 2. NPiL joint exhibition team included 14 makers and 14 booths.
