2022 08 MIRDC has signed a memorandum with HwaCom Systems Inc. to promote collaborative research and development of technology and extended application in integrating virtual and actual simulation training systems for innovative wind power through industry-academic cooperation.
2022 08 MIRDC has signed an MOU with the Kaohsiung Fishermen's Association to jointly develop and promote unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) technology, innovative services, and field verification for the offshore fishing industry.
2022 07 MIRDC has signed a trilateral alliance with the Taiwan Bio-Medical Care Association and Metz Enterprise Co., Ltd. to cooperate on developing, producing, and marketing antimicrobial technologies.
2022 07 MIRDC has signed an MOU with the WTCC to strengthen resource sharing and collaborative communication, promote positive interaction and development between each other, expand local business opportunities, and jointly enhance the competitiveness of Taiwanese enterprises as the basis for confirming the intention of cooperation between both parties.
2022 07 MIRDC, Laser and Photonics Medicine Society of Taiwan, Photonics Industry & Technology Development Association, TAITRA, Taiwan Optics Association, The International Friends of Chiang Society, Kaohsiung Industry Development Association, NKUST and Kaohsiung Harbor Metropolitan Entrepreneurs Association signed an MOU to exchange and consensus-building, these collaborations have stimulated cross-industry cooperation and investment, creating new high-yield industrial investments and promoting industrial clusters to enhance local prosperity.
2022 07 MIRDC and Carbon-Based Technology, Inc. signed an MOU to collaborate on the applications of unmanned aerial vehicles and unmanned underwater vehicles, adding value to professional tasks and expanding their usage. By combining their respective technologies and planning a long-term development roadmap, they will jointly research and develop innovative technologies for the industry and strive to obtain relevant national research projects.
2022 07 MIRDC has completed the mechanical testing laboratory (accreditation number: 0099) by TAF surveillance.
2022 07 MIRDC's "Development base of engineering talents" was ranked second in the mid-term performance evaluation by the Industrial Development Bureau, MOEA.
2022 06 The world's first Intelligent Orthopedic Surgical System, developed by MIRDC, has won the Red Dot 2022 product design award. This system combines vertebral segmentation with registration techniques to enable real-time dynamic adjustments of the location of each vertebra through navigation images during surgery. The area of each vertebra segment is corrected in real-time with an accuracy rate of 94%. Furthermore, using robotic arms enhances the applicability and precision of the navigation system. It provides the best auxiliary medical treatment for spine surgery, reduces radiation exposure, minimizes surgery risk, and shortens the operation time.
2022 06 After TAF review, MIRDC's Certification Section has become the first corporate ISO 14065 verification body to pass domestic verification.
